1. How do I enter this website?
There are several different ways to access this website:

A. New Visitors Who Are On Our Mailing List
If you are on our adult mailing list (you receive coupons and offers in the mail) or receive Heartland USA magazine, you can enter by providing your date of birth and your ID (the 10-digit number located above your name on your mailing labels). You will be prompted to create a User Name and Password for all future visits to this site. When creating your User Name, keep in mind that this will be your User Name throughout the site and may be published if you participate in one of our promotions.

B. New Visitors Who Are Not On The Mailing List
If you are new visitor to this site and do not have a mailing list ID, you can access this site by using the online verification procedure. It will require you to provide information through which we will verify your age. Once you pass this step, you will be prompted to create a User Name and Password that you can use to directly access our websites in the future. When creating your User Name, keep in mind that will be your User Name throughout the site and may be published if you participate in one of our promotions.

C. Returning Visitors
If you have previously created a User Name and Password on this site or registered with another U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company product website (FreshCope.com, for example), simply provide those to enter restricted areas of this site.


2. Why is the website restricted by age verification?
Because we are committed to being a responsible marketer of moist smokeless tobacco products, we take extra steps to limit access to our websites to only those adult consumers whose adult age has been verified.


3. What happens if you are unable to verify my age online?
We will provide you with a link to an adult verification form that will enable us to verify your adult age by mail. You MUST include a black and white photocopy of your driver's license or other valid government-issued I.D., which we will destroy upon verification of your adult age.


4. If I mail in the form, how long does it take to process?
We work to get these forms processed as quickly as possible. However, you may experience wait times of four to six weeks, depending on volume received.


5. How will I be notified once my mailed-in form is processed?
You will receive a postcard in the mail within four to six weeks.


6. Can I provide a P.O. Box or rural route or APO for my address?
No. Because we verify your adult age against government-issued IDs (voter registration or driver's license), and those IDs use a physical address, we are unable to verify your age when a P.O. Box, rural route or APO is used as an address.


7. What address should I provide if I've moved recently?
Please provide your address as found on your Driver's License or Voter Registration Card. If you have moved within the last 12 months and not updated this address, please provide us with your new address in the "Have You Moved Recently?" section.


8. Do I have to put in a second address?
No. If you have not moved within the last 12 months, you may leave the second Address section blank.


9. Why do I need to provide my address?
In order for us to verify your adult age, we match the information you provide against government-issued ID (either a driver's license or voter registration card). To ensure a proper match, you must provide your physical address (no P.O. boxes, rural route or APO postal codes).


10. Why do you need all this information?
We need all this information for two reasons: first, we take extra steps to limit access to only those adult consumers whose adult age has been verified; second, if you participate in one of our promotions, we will use this information for documentation and prize delivery.


11. When I submit my form, nothing happens. What should I do?
The form may take up to 60 seconds to submit, so please be patient. If the form does not submit within that time period, click here.


12. Is all of the information required?
Most of the information is required as indicated. However, phone number, middle name and the second address are optional.


13. Can I use my military ID?
We are not authorized to verify your adult age against military IDs. Please provide information as found on your driver's license or voter registration card.


14. Do you store this information?
We only store the information you provide if you successfully verify your age online and create a profile with a User Name and Password. The information you provide, including your email address, may be used to communicate site and product news, or to contact you if you win a prize. Neither we nor any third party working on our behalf will sell, rent or market personal data about you to a third party unless you have given us specific permission.


15. Do you share this information with others?
